Site Analysis

Site analysis maps were compiled using images taken from Ebimap to show understanding of environmental factors, access to the site, exsisting site usage and location within the greater context.

Due to its location near exsiting public bus routes, access to the site was mapped to show its ease of access from the centre of west end. Additional local cultural  locations were also marked to show their relative locations.

To accurately understand the uage of the site, analysis was conducted to investigate the exsiting site usage  and infastructure in close vactinity.

Mapping was conducted to show the site relation to other cultural hubs such as West End, Southbank, GOMA, New Farm and The Valley.

Site Considerations need to be understood to ensure the security and success of the project on site including flood levels, views, prevailing winds and shadow studies.
